  • Pub Reopenings Thursday 15 July 2021

Most pubs have now reopened within our branch, which is good news. But even better news is that two long-term closed pubs have reopened. The Cross Keys, Upwood and the Millstone at Barnack. Our best wishes to both - now go out there and support them. Find them here: https://whatpub.com/pubs/PET/598/cross-keys-upwood and https://whatpub.com/pubs/PET/5/millstone-barnack

    Trusty Steed, an English IPA
Brown Derby, an American Brown Ale
    Ryddler - a Rye IPA

  • Phishing emails Friday 11 June 2021

All members - you may receive an email from any one of the committee members with the following message :
Good Morning , I suppose you had a good night? Anyway, I'd be needing your help on a rather urgent matter. Are you momentarily free?
Please do not reply, just delete it. Thanks

  • The saddest news Tuesday 1 June 2021

With a lump in my throat and a heavy heart, I have the task of letting you know of the untimely death of Peter Talbott, better know to all of us as Flo.

Flo was a stalwart of Peterborough Beer Festival for all the years of its existence, from young drinker in the 80s, when PBF was at the Rugby Club, through to last year, where his skills helped get the show on the road. He will be sorely missed by those that knew him and those who loved him, Rest in Peace, Flo

  • Pubs will be opening again !! Monday 12 April 2021

At last, great news for us drinkers and for many the pubs in our area. Those that have an outdoor space will be opening on Monday 12th April with a few exceptions, which are waiting till the following weekend. Sadly, those without outdoor space won't be allowed to open until 17th May. In all cases, it will be table service and rule of six. No hugging or handshakes and masks to be worn when moving about. Check your favourite pub's info on their website or facebook page. I'm off on a mini-pub crawl on Monday !!
