The role of Branch Chairman is to oversee the administration of Branch, organise meetings and help encourage local CAMRA members to get involved with Branch activities, and represent our Branch at Regional meetings.

Born in North London and educated in Barnet, Hertfordshire. Steve joined British Rail in 1989 as platform staff and have rose through the rank to a Safety Inspector. He started his interest in Real Ale around 2001 after joining CAMRA at the Peterborough Beer Festival and took my first position on the branch committee as the Pubs & Locale Officer in December 2023 and was elected the chair of the in May 2025. Anyone who follows him on social media can see he loves walking and travel, usually to a pub. He's also a keen supporter of Barnet FC and Batley Bulldogs Rugby Union club.
